    Thank you for your video, I love Kimchi and I really want to make it and have it taste good, my grandmother could make it and she did a couple different ways and hers always tasted right and delicious! She could do anything and everything in the kitchen and my only fear is I know I cannot. But I want too!!! Yeah watching your video I couldn't help but think of my grandparents and my mother, I helped my grandma make it, but I have never tried myself.

And if you had given her the respect of watching more and recognized that she was preparing an entire meal, you might have realized that putting the "recipe" in the description wouldn't even make sense. We don't want to "go to another site" just for the recipe. I have no respect for their laziness. Don't care "how long it is", I would have expected it and welcomed it. If she chose to waste her time typing it onto another site fine, all she had to do is copy/paste into the description box. If you post a video on UA-cam post the recipe on UA-cam... simple as that... that makes sense. It was not "unfair" it was earned by her.

    That is a TON of sesame oil for such a small bowl of rice. I would think maybe three to four drops would be enough flavoring for that size bowl.

      Hi 👋 The actual sesame oil drizzle is actually like for 3 seconds, but it is played back (in the video) as slow-roll, more than 10x slower. Yes, just a quick light drizzle is ideal

    Hi Helen! It's been a long time since I've messaged you. Sorry. I have a question for you. I'm going to move into my son's home in the Philippines. I plan on doing some cooking for the family. And of course I'll be doing many of your recipes. I'd like to do this for sure. But I don't think the amount is enough. For a family of 7, how much of the ingredients do I use? Would I just double it?

    Great video! Ever since I lost my Korean mother to cancer, I started eating out at Korean restaurants and it gets expensive so now I’m learning how to prepare all the various korean side dishes. Thank you for all your helpful videos and I also watch Manggchi videos. Both very helpful.

      Hi 👋 Of course! Two different counties with two unique cuisines. Chinese and Korean soy sauces do not taste the same.

    I'm not a fan of the traditional red mix of kimchi but this one I would definitely try and make it for sure but I'll have to wait till I can find all the correct ingredients or I will do my take off it ..I live in small country town so would have to wait till I go to city to an Asian/Korean shop for some of ingredients..looks delicious 😋.       @@ModernPepper yes I've been checking out all the links..I know my son would appreciate me trying my hand at either recipes he loves kimchi &. Korean food..we used to always go to Korean BBQ for special occasions like birthdays etc.I always think of him when I see recipes for Korean food 👍
